I am struggling to keep up with school work and additional work. I have learned a lot in the last month about some online things. I have learned all about keywords, and I am testing out some ideas on how to use them.
I know that teachers can make extra money online, but it is a little scary putting myself out there.
With the increased demands of school, parents and family life, it is tiring to work on the computer late at night when everyone has gone to sleep. I have found that shooting for small goals helps me to stay motivate.
One of the talents that I have is cartooning. It is a side passion of mine, but my students love when I show them drawings. I went on the Google Keyword tool, this is a free tool on Google. It shows you the number of people who look up certain words. I noticed that Drawing Ideas for Kids gets a few hundred hits a month, so it is my goal to get my google blog (like this one which is free) in the first page. If you Google: drawing ideas for kids, you'll see some of my things on the second page. I haven't made any money after a month of work, but it is fun to see hits on my blogs and videos.
It was a tough week of teaching. I love it, but being able to have outside money would certainly help free up my mind so I could be even more effective.
I also love teaching math, I have started a math site called Fast Math U. I hope to make it a place that it is useful for elementary math students who want to learn mental math tricks.
